Hedge planting

Hope you can come along on Sunday to help us with our hedge planting!

The task involves planting a hedge alongside the Vine/Queenswood Centre, plus wildflower planting. There will also be some sawing, to dispose of a hawthorn tree which has recently blown over where we want to plant.

As well as planting there are canes and spiral guards and probably mulch mats to fix.

The attached Google Earth image shows the location of the work in pink and the meeting location in purple.

Tools will be provided, plus hot drinks and cakes/biscuits. Volunteers should wear stout boots and warm clothing, and bring their own spades and trowels if they have them.

We are starting at 12.00 midday and will work until about 3.00 if we don't finish beforehand.
