Wildflower meadow

The north-west part of the park, south of Queens Wood, is now being cut just once a year, in Autumn. This will encourage grasses and wild flowers, providing food for bees and other insects and habitat for butterflies, birds and small mammals. Mown paths round the edge and across the middle make it easy for walkers.
